hi doctor my 6 month old baby girl pooped dark green stool with normal consistency only she was cured from diaherra recently and is breastfeeding baby

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Certain brands of formula milk resulting in green poop. Imbalance in foremilk and hind milk also causes dark green stools. If green poop is semi solid than no worries. tc

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 5 m old girl3 years agoA. hi if there is Mucus in stool or if there is foul smell too then please visit your pediatrician. give plenty of breastfeeds feed your child on each breast at least 20 minutes so your child can get full fat hindmilk well. avoid giving new food items for now keep your child well hydrated maintain good hygiene using Babyhug multipurpose cleaner
