good morning. pentaxim and hep A vaccines given on 27th to my son of age 18 month. having fever and cough since then and till now. giving calpol syrup every 6 hrs.Is it normal ?kindly suggest.

A. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given. along with thahikt cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergici medicine given. steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
