every alternate day, during evening hours he is not sleeping for straight 5-6 hours, sometimes 8 hours. in between he is taking constant feed, in every one hour. having good amount of pee also. but not sleeping. is there any concern about this pattern.

A. Look if the child is maintaining a sleep of 8 to 10 hours out of 24 hours and staying up for sometime is not a problem though I do agree that sometimes staying up for 6 to 8 hours is awfully very long duration for a two month old child but if the child is healthy otherwise taking the feeding properly the urine output is good then it is not an issue
