#doctor my kid was never given vitamin A syrup, he is 5.8 years old now today Asha worker given vitamin A syrup which contains 100000 IU in 1 ml, she has given 5 ml saying that as it is the last dose and kid never taken it before after coming home I came to know that its actual dose is only 2ml in every 6 months what should I do now am very much worried about this over dose plz suggest

ExpertDr. Gunjan BawejaPaediatrician12 hours agoA. hello vitamin a drops are given to all the kids along with vaccination and are complet by 5 years and higher dise should not be given if missed before. if you feel any signs get the baby checked.
