Q.

Daughter is having cough since 3 dayswhich is stuck in chest..mild fever at night... most of the time she is feeling sleepy Can u suggest some medicine..she is 3 year old

A. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only affter a proper evaluation by the doctor according totf the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Hi mommy Consult with your doctor in person for proepr physical examination and treatment Use saline nasal drops Offer different varieties of food fruits vegetable pulses whole grains milk products in different shape colours patterns to make meal more interesting children are fussy eater at this age its all normal and common you can give food in puree liquid form or give some juice soup milkshake etc
