Author of questionFather of a 3 m old boy2 weeks agoA. since my baby does not like keeping hands inside, swaddling the legs and keeping the hands out is an alternate option, but he doesn't sleep quite well if hands are out... hands keep on moving in sleep..

For initial three months you should do it it’s actually a very good practice helps in straightening the legs and that actually helps in comforting the child for better sleep so I believe it’s a good option to do but it is not mandatory it’s your personal choice
