#asktheexperts our baby has 23 days old , she passed motion 6,7 times dqy and 3,4 times night. Is that normal. Also she doesnot gain weight is that becouse of motion.

A. Hello good evening !! New born babies pass frequent motions as their digestive system is still developing ,so it is normal. Only concern when baby pass loose watery stools more than 10-12 times a day. Give feed every two hours and sleep 12-18 hours a day,this helps in gaining weight.
