#asktheexperts my baby boy is 5.5 yrs old. His tongue is tied. But is not much. He speaks most of the words correctly. Please confirm, can I go for surgery? Is it ok to operate at 5 yrs? Or can sergery be done at any age?

Rashmi GMom of a 11 yr 11 m old girl2 weeks agoA. It is a minor tongue tight then it is not a problem but if you want you can consult an ENT doctor they recommend you that procedure the minor surgery to be done and it is going to be helpful for better speech and clarity of speech
