Q.

#asktheexperts hello..I really need an expert and professional advice! I have known that milk teeth with gaps is good for the upcoming permanent teeth as permanent teeth are bigger than the milk teeth. My 4.7yrs child has tightly packed teeth..there is no such gaps that is required. My concern is ..is there anything that can be done before the eruption of the permanent teeth so that no overcrowding of teeth takes place?

A. I think it would be better that you get examined by a dentist in person though what you are saying is absolutely correct but usually the teeth do not overlap it is going to take its own place because when the child is growing up also grows the gum actually have a wider space to accommodate the teeth so it should not be a problem but you can clear it with your dentist
