#AskTheExpert My son is having intermittent fever from last two days. He is teething. Is it because of that.

ExpertDr. Garima VermaDentist5 years agoA. If the fever is not high grade and is just a degree rise in temperature then it can be due to teething. but the best is to consult a pediatrician and get it diagnosed.

The symptoms are excessive drooling, swollen gums, loss of appetite, Motions, Putting everything to mouth, rash around the mouth area. Irritability, ear pulling, biting. Sometimes there won't be any symptoms too. Each baby is different. You can give chilled teether that is Bpa free toys, Wodden toys, teething rings, cold wash cloth to rub over the gums. Cold carrot stick to rub over the gums, rubber teething mittens, use your finder finger to rub baby gums.
