Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should gbe used once agy proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed. if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

Manali K MehtaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi parent r keep her well hydrated by giving her a spoon of lukewarm water every hour when she's awake use simply purified water having tds higher than 350 and less than 500 for it. take sunbathing daily with her head and ears covered in the morning keep a bowl of chopped onion near her bed apptox three feet far over night
