Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicxines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per thec symptoms . Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

Yes It is an antiallergic medicine that is given to the child for different kind of allergies and cold is also mostly a form of an allergy only so I think that’s the only thing that your child is suffering from is it’s absolutely a good option to go for
