Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Milk for babies specially in the initial days of life is very essential, breast milk is ideally the best and should be given exclusively till 5-6 months of age . if your baby is having proper weight gain and urine output then you can consider that the baby is getting satisfied with the milk and there is nothing to worry. formula milk should be given only when advised by your pediatrician as a substitute to breast milk if due to any reason it is not sufficient to fulfill the demand of the baby. according to the age different stage of formula milk are there like stage 1 till 6 months of age stage 2 from 6 months to 12 months and thereafter stage 3. after one year cccow's milk can be started and any kind of health drink powder in milk should be used only after the completion of two years of age , You can use any good brand of health drink like pediasure nangrow or kids Pro which are available in different flavours too.
