Q.
my baby is 1 yr 10 month old having fewer from today morning. At morning it was normal but at afternoon his body was getting hotter & Hotter. so gave him babygesic syrup 125 5ml at 3.10pm, 7.15 pm& 11.15pm, I also gave him massage of cold water to forehead. but now his temperature is showing 101 please suggest

Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic aci bed preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .

It is advisable to consult your child’s doctor for a personal evaluation and seek further advice. Maintain a good personal hygiene and follow your doctor’s advice diligently.
