Q.
last month December my kid got severe chest congestion with fever. we did nebulization and her congestion got reduced in 10 days. but her cold has not gone. now again today she got fever.does kids gets cold and fever every month? is it safe to give paracetamol if she falls sick every month

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 10 m old boy2 years agoA. regular cough and cold in children are most commonly associated with allergy which might be due to weather changes on temperature variations. many times simple cough and cold is followed by secondary infections. it is very common that children will have a recurrent cough and cold as well as fever beforec 7 years of age and after that a proper immunity is developed and then this problem will go away. get the child vaccinated for flu vaccine which will again help in decreasingc this problem
