To perform Kegel exercises, empty the bladder and then follow these steps:
Relax the abdomen, chest, thighs, and buttocks.
Tighten the pelvic floor muscles and hold for 5 to 10 seconds.
Relax the muscles for 5 to 10 seconds.
Repeat 10 times.
