A. Yes, shortness of breath during early pregnancy is common due to hormonal changes, especially the rise in progesterone, which affects breathing patterns. Your body is also increasing blood volume and oxygen supply for the baby, which can make you feel breathless while talking or walking. However, ensure you get enough rest, sit upright, and take slow deep breaths. Avoid overexertion and stay hydrated. If you experience severe breathlessness, chest pain, dizziness, or rapid heartbeat, consult your doctor immediately, as it could indicate an underlying issue like anemia or low oxygen levels.
