Dear Doctor, I am worried about my daughter. who is suffering from cold-cough-fever altogether. few days before she had loosmotions too. we are giving her pcm with livoceterizine. Still no of medicine or benefits seen from it. cough and cold getting severe.Steam has also been given ( liv salbutamol). please advise what to do.

A. recurring and non resolving cough and cold is commonly due to allergy and less likely due to infection. can be due to either allergy or infectionx or both. along with cough and cold medicine nebulization will be required and your doctor will guide you regarding this. take a follow up with your doctor if the cough and cold is not improvingx with 3 days of medication . you can give home remedies like to see honey ginger and turmeric with milk.
