#asktheexperts my baby weight is 5 kg and she is 3 and a half month old . although her birth weight is 4 kg 200 gm is it okkk.she has lost her weight rapidly after birth and then she is started gaining weight.now she is 5 kg she is okk or do i need to do something.i am breastfeeding her full time .

MamtaMom of a 3 m old boy1 week agoA. Initial weight loss after birth is normal. However, since the weight gain is a bit slow now, please consult your pediatrician once to check if the baby's feeding and growth track are fine.

No Ma’am actually if you look at it your child should be 1750 g more than the birth rate so this is not right as of now you should check with your doctor because a minimum expectation is 500 g gain in a month and your child is not meeting It so please connect with your doctor for further assistance
