#Asktheexperts Hi, My baby is 7 weeks old. We give her a head massage daily with baby oil. Is it ok to partially wash of the oil and leave the rest on her scalp or should it be washed off completely? I am a bit worried about her catching a cold due to left over oil.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. it's fine, it will not catch cold. Clean your hands. -Avoid close contact to your child with people who have colds or other upper respiratory infections. avoid cold wind n cold climate

U See a child is ever going to catch cold with oil so that’s nothing you need to worry about you can keep oil regularly and you can wash it two times in a desert in a week sorry because since it is winter season then you should just wash it two times in a week and dry the scalp completely if required you can just use blowdry from far away
