#asktheexperts Hi Doctor, My baby is 5 Months old, and I need your help to understand the very hot water bath. Daily my wife and her mother doing bath for my baby with very hot water and when I check water temperature adult people can't keep their hands on that water for 2 min that much hot. I am fighting with them daily do not pour very hot water but they are saying it will be good for the baby so that they will get body pain relief. kindly help about hot water bath and recommend temparature. Am worries alot about my baby skin as they have very sensitive skin. Thanks in advance Doctor!!! yours faithfully Reddy

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. Yes only lukewarm water for the bath if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok
