Sir my baby girl is 4 months old , she is having a dry skin patch on her scalp, I am able to see that for a while now may be from 2 months and it seems to be growing. we usually try to keep the patch moist with normal coconut oil. what could be the probable cause and treatment for it.

A. Hi dear mom. This is cradle cap on the babies head. Yes, continue to apply coconut oil on the scalp. This will help to loosen the cradle cap and clear the head and give relief from itching
