I could see a white patch on my baby thigh from past 2 weeks. I consulted a skin specialist he suggested to wait if it is appearing on any other place. He suggested this can be a birth mark. Could you please comment on this.

Do you remember it as a birth mark on the body because the mother knows whether if there is a birthmark or not and most of the times it is mentioned under your child’s list on the child takes birth because they mention everything on that chart so birth mark if it is there they do mention so maybe it is there in the doctors right because what happens happens sometimes when there is a particular place it could either be due to dryness could be a birthmark but if it spreads becomes big or spreading at parts of the body then it could be due to a skin related problem so I think it would be good if you wait and on this particular particular place apply some good cream or moisturiser or oil to see if it starts settling down
