my son is 2 yes and 5 months old he is in cold now shall I use promethazine syrup ip phenergan

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 2.5 years old and if he is having a cold then you should give him syrup maxtra 3.5 ml three times a day and phenargan is for motion sickness

no please don't self medicate your child.
it can be harmful.
please keep your child well hydrated
give warm water with pinch of turmeric powder ,give it in 2 tbsp quantity every 2 hours.
give mixture of honey and ginger ,in 1/2 tsp quantity once in a day
dress your child in weather appropriate clothes
provide apt sun light at least 20 minutes a day
maintain good hygiene
