hi my daughter never sleeps at night so our pediatric doc prescribed with promethazine syrup IP.(phenergan).IS it safe giving her?

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 9 months old and she doesn’t sleep well at night so don’t worry if your paediatrician has given syrup phenargan then it’s okay but not for long period

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. kindly before giving any kind of medicine you should always consult with your pediatrician once for knowing about the proper indication and duration upto which dose needs to be givenvto your child and also for the exact dosages according to the weight of the child. please do not self medicatejliu it is not advisable because at times it may be harmful also.
