my pediatrician suggested to give zincovit syrup 5ml for my 4 years old kid. but at the back of the syrup it is mentioned it is for children above 7 years. is it really safe for 4 years kid?? given that the added sugar is 2.5g and other preservatives in it is it really safe for a 4 year old kid??

Mam this one supplement is given to the child from the time of birth also so maybe the one you have got is for more than seven years but generally the supplement is totally suitable and safe to be given from the time of birth as the doctors do recommend this multivitamin for initial one year for kids but in case of doubt please talk to your doctor again
