my five month old baby suffering cold from 4 days.today she started coughing....what should I do.dctr gave her Maxtra,servil ls junior.Ishould I? bathing her

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. give nasal saline drops every few hourly to the child in the nasal cavity.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child
you can go for indirect steam inhalationr which will again help in decreasing both cough and cold
continue the regular diet of the child
if there is no improvement in few days then meet your doctorr
for fever and pain give paracetamol.
anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. The important thing is not to be sick at all but to get through the periods of infection in the most undamaged way. Even if your child is sick, do not disrupt the bathing routine or even contact it with water more often.
