my daughter is 20 months old. she only say TaTa and Imitates things but don't speak.

So if your child is in speaking but understanding everything that you can give it another six months try to interact more with your child teach more to your child slowly gradually your child is going to pick up if by the age of two also you feel that the speech is not proper on your child is not speaking at all when you take an advice from a speech therapist once but as of now you can wait for some more time
