Q.
My boy is having fever for the past 5 days. The fever has rising and lowering trend but it is not subsiding. Now we have been told by our doctor to give Taxim O antibiotic for 5 days. Is any other medication required to be given?

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 9 yr 2 m old boy3 years agoA. Have patience. Fevers due to viruses can last for as little as two to three days and sometime as long as two weeks. A fever caused by a bacterial infection may continue until the child is treated with an antibiotic.
