A. It is completely normal for a 7-month-old to still wake for night feeds, though it can certainly be exhausting for you. While it might seem like a late "filling" meal would help him sleep longer, there are a few reasons why he might still be waking up: Digestive Effort: Eating solids as late as 10:00 PM can actually disrupt sleep. A baby's digestive system has to work hard to process solids, which can cause restlessness or discomfort rather than deep sleep. Developmental Milestones: Around 7 months, babies often go through "sleep regressions" due to new skills like crawling or sitting up. They wake up to practice or simply because their brains are very active. Habit vs. Hunger: At this age, waking at 3:00 AM can become a "habitual" wake time where the baby looks for comfort or the routine of feeding to fall back asleep. Suggestions to Try: Move Solids Earlier: Try offering the solid meal around 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM. This gives his stomach time to digest before the bedtime milk. The "Dream Feed": Your 11:00 PM Lactogen feed is a good strategy, but try to keep it as quiet and dark as possible to ensure he stays in a sleepy state.

A. Yes he will wake up not just because he is hungry but maybe because he wants to change turns maybe because of thirst , so feed him it makes him calm and soothes him to sleep again

A. Hello mama As the baby is small ,so will wake up for feeds one or two times during Night time. so feed ur baby when he demands milk.. The proper routine will set up once the baby grows up.
