#Mamaxpert I am having type1 diabetes prior to pregnancy and I am using insulin, sometimes sugar is under control and sometimes getting higher value. I had quadraple marker test and it got low risk and also amniocentesis and the report were normal. will there be any complications

A. Hello with type 1 diabetic pregnancy, the risk for abnormal child are same as any normal individual. Just make sure to keep the blood sugars under tight control. Eat healthy foods , sleep well, stay stress free & keep monitoring daily for better blood sugar control
