If your baby is otherwise healthy—feeding well, having regular wet diapers, and behaving normally—there is usually no cause for concern. However, if you notice any signs of illness (e.g., fussiness, feeding difficulties, unusual sleepiness, or fewer wet diapers), it may be wise to consult your pediatrician. For babies this young, any temperature above 38°C (100.4°F) is considered a fever and should be evaluated by a healthcare provider.
