If a child has a gratification problem, can any mother tell how it got cured and how much time it took?

A. Most children outgrow this behavior naturally as they become more mobile (crawling and walking) and find new ways to interact with the world. It usually resolves on its own within a few months. Note: If the behavior is constant, prevents the child from playing/eating, or if you notice redness or signs of pain, it is always a good idea to consult a pediatrician to rule out any underlying skin infections or medical issues.

A. Hey! It is a very common finding in most of the kids and just ensure that there is no too much of discomfort in the child. With time, it should go away. Divert your child’s attention to something productive and positive.
