Q.
I had long menstrual bleeding n no other symptoms. On doing a pelvic ultrasound, found a simple cyst of 3cmx2.6cm. What to do? Should I wait n monitor or get an ovarian cystectomy done? Pls. advise.

The size of the cyst is very small and if it is a simple cyst, usually it will resolve on its own within 2 to 3 months and you can also take hormonal treatment for that. You have to check your thyroid profile and what the intermittent thickness is and if required, your doctor will do an endometrial biopsy.
