you can go for any type of diaper for your child. it can be either readymate or homemade. 
it can single use or it might be reusable once. it can be of any brand. (in a particular band also there are types from regular to premium, and the premium has got more absorption and less allergy).

the most important thing that you have to follow is that it should not cause peri anal and genital skin allergy as well as it has to be changed regularly before it can cause perianal rash. can apply coconut oil and baby powder to decrease the chances of rash before using the diaper.
if it is causing allergy then kindly change the brand.

yes heard a lot about cloth diapers but never used due to leakage fear. i had used mamaearth pamper pants premium range and now my SIL is using mamaearth plant based diapers. both are light weight rashfree diapers that has good absorbing capacity and no leakage issues.

yes. you can use reusable cloth diapers. try babyhug or supper bottom diapers.

Yes if you are talking about the cloth type as you definitely can go for them and they are much better diapers to be used because the disposable once can create too many rashes which is why they should only be use either during the night time when your child is sleeping or when you are taking your child out
