Q.

I am mother of 1 yr old daughter i got thyroid in pregnanacy and started tablet of 25 mg but after delivery i stopped my tab for 3 months and tested it was 8 and again my dr suggested me to take 25 mg,after consuming 4 months my throid is now 3.should i continue eating 25 mg tab??

A. Thyroid function tests are indicated after every three and six months after delivery, if you had during pregnancy. Regular daily walking and meditation helps control thyroid to much extent. And consult with reports. Thyroid medicines should never be stopped immediately and you should reduce the dose 1st and then stop if the levels are remaining normal

A. I would not advise you to discontinue the medicine without consulting the doctor if it is within the referral range then it is completely alright then you can stop the medicine but prior you take the decision please talk to your doctor in clear all your doubts about it
