hie.. my baby is just 10 days old.and m using Figaro olive oil for his skin. buy his complexion is getting darker day by day. is it because of oil or smthng else plz sugg??

Dr Rashmi SriramMom of a 8 yr 10 m old girl4 years agoA. Colour of the baby changes with age. Use of olive oil is not recommended. Sebamed massage oil can be applied before bath followed by gentle cleansing with warm water and good soap followed by lotion.

Yes , olive oil or some other oils might result in darker skin tone or allergies
Please use coconut oil for massage
It's very soothing and antimicrobial
It doesn't cause any allergic reaction too.
Take sunbath daily with her head and ears covered
