Q.
Hi sir, I have 8months old baby boy. He is suffering from cold & cough. Yesterday we went to hospital .They have given cough syrup.I have small doubt.They told me to use 3ml dosage each time( 9ml per a day).Pls suggest can we use 8months baby ambroxol,levosalbutamol and Guaiphenesin syrup 9ml dosage per a day?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. it is better you give D drops to the baby than syrup formulation cold and cough most of the times because of viral infection sometimes even allergies please give steam inhalation frequently to liquefied the secretions and saline nasal drops in nose of the baby
