Hi, regarding the 6-, 10-, and 14-week vaccinations, is it necessary to use the same brand for all three doses, or can we use different brands? Due to our situation, we may need to visit different hospitals for the vaccinations.

A. Hello mama yes it is ok to use different brands of vaccination... There is no problem in that... all brands are effective. Fever swelling and rashes are common symptoms after vaccination...

Q. Hello, My baby girl is currently 11 weeks old. She has received her 6-week and 10-week vaccinations at a government health facility in our native place, Vijayawada. We are planning to travel to Bangalore in about a week, and her 14-week vaccination will be due around that time. I would like to know whether it is completely okay to get her 14-week vaccination at a government health facility in Bangalore instead of coming back to Vijayawada. Since this will be the 3rd dose of the same vaccination series, I am a little concerned about whether it is important to have all three doses at the same place to avoid any complications or issues with the vaccination record. As I understand, government vaccinations under the Universal Immunization Programme are the same across India. Could you please confirm whether we can safely continue her vaccination in Bangalore without any problem? Thank you.
