HomeQuestions & Answershi,I m shalini banerjee..my boy is 1 year 9 months old but he don't talk enough...he olnly speak few words & sounds..he called his father baba..& can't called me mamma..he talk himself kaka mama mimi mammam & some few words ..he can't talk enough..he can't says I want..& other's..I m tensed..but he much more smart speedy..& his memory are very strong..he knows some animals name in English & bengali..but he he late talker.. we are alwys talk with him...he understood everything.. he always eat some food..can anybody tell this is normal late talk..

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 4 m old girl4 years agoA. So It is just a little delay in this piece since you already mention it clearly that your child is understanding everything that you are teaching your child or talking to your child about then don’t worry about it slowly gradually your child will pick up by the age of 3 to 3 1/2 years you encourage your child to talk keep talking more and more and if needed you can consult a speech therapist ones
