I would not suggest you to go ahead with as of now that because hairclips can actually pull of the hair which is not good and a child can easily get hurt on the scalp so you can use soft wins if you have any and you can go with using hair bands which are the soft ones which are completely made up of cloth but no hair pin before the age of one year
