Jessi KalyanMom of 2 children2 years agoA. Bring 1/2 cup of water to boil, add in 1/4 cup of quick oats and stir to combine. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 1 minute, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and let cool. Add breast milk, formula or water, if needed to get the oats to the desired consistency.

mam,as a child is 11 months old,it is good to avoid giving oats .
oats are bulky in nature so they keep the child's stomach full for long period.
so instead of it ,you can give homemade food like sheera ,rab , multigrain idli, dosa, khichu, dhokla etc to your child.
although if you want to offer oats ,you can prepare oats khichdi ,oats porridge,fruity oatmeal blend, oatmeal Chapati etc
