Q.

#asktheexperts My baby boy has completed 3 months and I am giving combination feeds from the age of one month due to breast nipple wounds, I used to pump and give milk 3 to 4 times a day and rest formula, now I got periods, and I have thyroid issues, I want to know will my milk supply go down from now on?

A. Period is a very natural cycle it does not hamper the breastfeeding at all but in case of doubt you can always start taking a lactation supplement to boost your growth if you will be able to feed your breastfeeding for a longer time
