A. yes, it's good giving him a few sips of water with the help of spoon, couple of times a day (no more than 1 ounces per day.) You may start with a sippy cup, spoon, or bottle feeder. Initially they won't take more than a few sips from a cup or bottle at a time—and that's fine, because they don't really need it.

A. If your baby is around 6 months old, you can offer small amounts of cooled boiled tap water but you should not replace their breastmilk or formula feeds. Breastmilk or formula should still be their main drink up to 12 months of age. After 12 months, their main drink should be water and cow's milk or breastmilk.
