#asktheexpert skipped my period last month but not pregnant as chk at home. is this normal or should I visit a gyncaelogist.

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. If you're period date is being missed and you are confirmed that it is not pregnancy. Then you can wait for 10 days more for your periods to come naturally even if after that ,no periods then you can take medications for your periods to come.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 10 m old boy2 years agoA. If you take a pregnancy test after your period is late and get a negative result, you're unlikely to be pregnant. Home pregnancy tests are very accurate — about 99 percent — but a false negative is still possible. Try taking another pregnancy test in a day or two to double check.
