#AskTheExpert sir my daughter nas cold so I have maxtra p syrup can i give this syrup to her right now?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper tsdose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl3 years agoA. Yup Of course you can give it to the child it is an anti allergy medicine that you can give to the child is completely safe so go ahead with it twice a day a minimum of three days you can give this medicine and maximum five days
