#AskTheExpert My son aged 10 years gets cold often. Especially, when they have sports practice in the dewy cold winters. & once he gets it, my younger son aged 2 years also starts with dry cough. This time, the Dr. noticed wheesing, for my elder boy, so, he was prescribed a steroid inhaler for one & a half month, which just got over yesterday. Kindly help, how to prevent recurrence. Thanks Dr.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. Turmeric is known to treat viral infections such as cough and cold due to its antiseptic properties. Make a glass of warm milk with turmeric powder and give it to the child every night. It relieves a sore throat and a runny nose right away.
