#asktheexpert My period date was 11. today i go through a pregnancy test and it show negative. Did I test early ?

A. There may be many reasons for a negative pregnancy test after a missed period. You may have an undiagnosed medical condition, such as PCOS, or be experiencing extreme stress. After getting a negative test result, you should wait a few days to a week before taking another test.
