A. If your 14-month-old is drinking three sippers of water a day and constantly asking for water, it may be normal if the weather is hot or if your child is active. However, excessive thirst can sometimes be a sign of an underlying issue like diabetes or dehydration. Observe for other symptoms like frequent urination, weight loss, or irritability. If your baby is eating well, has normal urine output, and is otherwise active and healthy, it might be fine. But to be safe, it's best to consult a pediatrician to rule out any medical concerns.
