Q.

#asktheexpert Is it normal for a baby to have swollen and red eyelids. This usually goes away after a few hours and appears again after the baby rubs her eyes. Normal or cause of concern ?

A. can be allergic in nature vv. if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok

A. Crying and sleeping are two of the most common causes of swelling around the eyes when the retention of fluid is responsible. In both situations, the body produces tears that are not drained, and the tissues around the eyes retain the excess fluid.
